HELP!

I NEED SOMEBODY--HELP!

NOT JUST ANYBODY--HELP!

WON'T YOU PLEASE, PLEASE HELP ME?

HELP ME!

HELP MEEEEEEE.

La-la-la-la-la-la.

Okay, okay, 'The Beatles' did it better, I know.

How do you clever bloggers post pictures on the blog you're writing?

I see posts with pictures and captions and I can't seem to do that (I also have trouble with posting 'clickable' links).

I can only seem to post pictures as a header (see above left for example). I've tried copying & pasting...but...they only come out blank or as web addresses.

God, I suck at this, too.

I don't deserve to blog.

I'm poopie.

So, blogger Gods and Goddesses of UN-suckiness, won't you PLEASE, PLEASE HELP ME???

La-la-la-la-la.....

  1. if you click on the "add a picture" icon you can add a photo from your computer's hard drive or the web. Then you can click on where you want it (left, center, or right) then once it's added you can drag it to where you want it within the post.

Also, for links highlight the word you want to be a link, click on the "add a link" icon and a window will open up where you can paste the link. If you're not sure where the "add a phot" and "add a link" icons are they're the little pictures in the bar above the box where you type in your blog. Click on a few to experiment and you'll eventually find them

Not sure if I explained this at all well, if you still have issues email me: katebanks75@gmail.com my wifi is spotty this week but I'll be at work tomorrow where I can get online. good luck!!!

  2. Step by step to do it:

    1. To begin with click on the 'customize' tab that appears on the top right corner of your blog.

    2. Click on 'Settings' and look for 'Select post editor' under 'Global Settings' and select 'Updated editor'. Scroll down the page and 'SAVE SETTINGS'.

Now when you're posting a new entry you'll see that the look of the posting box has changed. This new version is more user friendly and you can learn it all by yourself. You need to familiarize yourself with the tools of blog my friend. Keep experimenting. After all, it's your own space and it's lot more fun learning through mistakes than learning through a set of instructions.

To add clickable links in your posts select the word that you want to make as a link and then click on 'Link' and copy paste the site address that you want to link with.
